The ideal candidate will have litigation experience working and managing case files and be familiar with federal and state court systems. The ideal candidate will have experience relevant to an active federal and state litigation practice involving constitutional officers, insurance defense, business disputes, appellate litigation, and more. Experience should include drafting and issuing litigation documents, including pleadings, motions practice, and discovery. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-office position. Work hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

Manage case files and litigation experience.
Draft and issue litigation documents, including pleadings, motion practice, and discovery.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication.
Qualifications

2-5 years of related work experience in a professional services firm.
Required Skills

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to flex as required to meet the needs of the hour.
Lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Skills

Experience in federal and state litigation practice.

Intake Coordinator and Escrow Specialist:
Follow up on new case calls, scheduling clients for intake appointments with our lawyers, data entry to set up a new case in our case management system, and preparing initial documents for the client’s signature.
Teams meetings for clients who cannot come into the office, working with the referral services that we use, following up on clients who have not returned their paperwork, etc. It’s a fluid and fast-paced position.
Handling disbursements after a case has settled. The salary range for this position is $45,000-$65,000.

REMOTE PERSONAL INJURY PARALEGAL!
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a busy personal-injury civil litigation practice located in Richmond, VA. This role is full-time but can be remote located, ideally someone in the EST would be preferred for meetings and Zooms. The ideal candidate will assist with case management, document preparation, and client communication in matters involving workplace disputes, compliance, and litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, correspondence, and discovery materials
Maintain personal injury case load for attorneys
Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines to ensure compliance with court rules
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials
Coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Conduct basic legal research and gather case-related documents
Maintain billing records, time entries, and expense tracking
Qualifications
4+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal - personal injury background
Familiarity with personal injury concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with legal software (e.g., case management or document management systems)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of medical malpractice or personal injury matters
Experience supporting litigation matters
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Education
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
A paralegal certificate is a plus
