We are seeking a motivated and client-focused Attorney to handle a diverse caseload, including DUI/DWI, family law, and traffic-related matters. This role involves managing cases from intake through resolution, appearing in court regularly, and providing strategic legal counsel to clients.
Represent clients in DUI/DWI, family law, and traffic cases in state courts.
Responsibilities
Manage a full caseload, including client intake, case strategy, and resolution
Conduct court appearances, hearings, motions, and trials
Negotiate plea agreements, settlements, and resolutions with opposing counsel and prosecutors
Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, discovery, and a
Professional development and CLE support
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in DUI/DWI, family law, and traffic cases in state courts
Manage a full caseload, including client intake, case strategy, and resolution
Conduct court appearances, hearings, motions, and trials
Negotiate plea agreements, settlements, and resolutions with opposing counsel and prosecutors
Draft and review legal documents including motions, pleadings, discovery, and agreements
Advise clients on legal rights, risks, and case strategy
Maintain consistent client communication and provide case updates
Ensure compliance with all court rules, deadlines, and ethical obligations
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active license and good standing with the state bar
1–5+ years of experience preferred (will consider strong newer attorneys)
Courtroom experience strongly preferred
Strong negotiation, litigation, and client management skills
