The ideal candidate will have litigation experience working and managing case files and be familiar with federal and state court systems. The ideal candidate will have experience relevant to an active federal and state litigation practice involving constitutional officers, insurance defense, business disputes, appellate litigation, and more. Experience should include drafting and issuing litigation documents, including pleadings, motions practice, and discovery. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services while maintaining a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication. This is a full-time, non-exempt, in-office position. Work hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday-Friday with a 30-minute lunch break.
Responsibilities
Manage case files and litigation experience.
Draft and issue litigation documents, including pleadings, motion practice, and discovery.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
2-5 years of related work experience in a professional services firm.
Required Skills
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to flex as required to meet the needs of the hour.
Lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Skills
Experience in federal and state litigation practice.
