Process Controls/Electrical Engineer

This position is responsible for the integration of innovative CNC controls for complex multi-spindle machine tools. This includes the design of supporting control hardware, software, integration of peripheral equipment (vision, robotics, etc.) and full implementation during the commissioning and installation phases of projects.

Essential Job Duties include, but not limited to:

Perform complete electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control design analysis
PLC programming (Ladder and Function Block)
HMI software development (Visual Basic, C #, Windows Forms, WPF)
Review electrical schematics and control panel layouts (AutoCAD Electrical)
Integrate peripheral equipment (vision, robotics, etc.)
Work with vendors to control costs
Project management and assistance to Manufacturing and Assembly
Participates in design reviews, design approvals, and runoffs
Provides concept drawings, cost analysis, and documentation for proposals
Analyze throughput on machinery and make recommendations on how to improve efficiency
Identify and implement improvements for quality, cost, and uptime
Assist in troubleshooting equipment and train service technicians on new equipment
Develop documentation including internal work instructions and operation manuals
EDUCATION REQUIRED:

BSEE or equivalent technical degree

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must have 3-5 years of controls design experience
Working knowledge of motion control for electric and hydraulic servo systems preferred
Must have strong capabilities to comprehend mechanical functionality and complex control architectures
Experience with FANUC Robotics including troubleshooting, programming and integration is a plus
Strong working knowledge of electrical and safety standards (NFPA, etc.)
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical is a plus
Experience with integration of devices over industrial communication networks (Ethernet/IP, etc.)
Knowledge of Team Building, Time Management, and Value Engineering
Project Management capabilities along with strong inter-personal, leadership, and organizational skills
Candidate must be able to travel 20% of the total work time.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a passport.
An Associates or technical degree with relevant experience may be considered for a strong experienced candidate with at least 3-5 year of experience in the field of industrial automation and control.

1st shift works Mon.-Fri. 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
2nd shift works Mon.-Thurs. 3:15 pm -1:45 am. 10% wage premium for 2nd shift
Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
*Signing Bonus: $5,000.00
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Applicants must have the ability to set up and run larger manual lathes and mills
• Must also be able to work in fast paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Capable of measuring and inspecting final products
• Welding capabilities are a big plus
• CNC experience is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION
REPAIR TECHNICIAN
1 technician -night shift -Monday -Thursday, 7:30pm -6am. Overtime is mandatory. Pay on average is $24.00
SUMMARY
Repair, adjust, install, or maintain CNC Machining Centers, Manual Mills, Manual Lathes, Gear Machines, and other industrial equipment and to maintain production facility by applying knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production equipment and machinery.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators in order to diagnose equipment problems.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters and other testing devices.
• Install, test, repair, and troubleshoot various CNC controls.
• Maintain, install, repair, and replace electrical wiring, electronic wiring, and plumbing in the production facility.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively participate in the 5S program, which is to Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain in order to maintain a highly productive work environment.
• Assist with keeping the department and machinery clean.
• General fabrication welding.
• Other duties as assigned.

CNC MACHINIST

SUMMARY

Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers, Manual Mills, or Manual Lathes in order to produce precision parts in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Position and fasten work pieces.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machine.
• Select the appropriate tools and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work.
• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, and Grinders.
• Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers, depth micrometers, inside diameter gauges, and outside diameter gauges.
• Read and understand gauging sheets.
• Read and interpret blueprints to insure parts are being made according to specifications.
• Listen to machine and tooling to ensure machine and tooling are running properly.
• Operate hoist in order to load parts onto machining center, lathe, or mill.
• Takes job down efficiently (Tooling, cleaning fixtures, putting gauges back, etc).

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Geometric Tolerance Skills
• Troubleshooting – Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Active Listening – Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
• Operation Monitoring – Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
• Possess a general knowledge of tooling speeds and feed rates.
