Local industrial firm is seeking a Mineral Lab Technician for their Benwood production facility. Temp to hire position for the right candidate.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform test procedures with attention to detail
Accurately record test results
Document preparation
Keep lab and equipment clean and orderly
Manage operating activities in the laboratory, sample retrieval and analysis
Enter lab data
Issue Certificate of analysis
Receive and record incoming packaging material
Prepare sample requests for sales
Collects cosmetic/pharmaceutical samples for third-party analysis.
Inspect the plant facility and finished product inventory, verify correct labeling of packaged product, and (if needed) communicates to SS any anomalies observed.
Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections
Assist the QM and TQM in the control of the QES Management System.
Requirements:
Excellent computer skills
Candidate must be able to work independently
Must be able to multi-task
Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
Valid driver’s license
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Other:
Previous laboratory experience is strongly preferred
Schedule:
Day shift position, with overtime as needed
Some Saturdays required
The position is temp to hire for the right candidate with excellent benefit package available upon hire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
