Young Men's Leadership Academy

Young Men's Leadership Academy Leadership, Academics, Brotherhood, & Service YMLA is a school based organization founded in 2008 out of necessity.

Knowing that our boys need to feel connected, appreciated and competent sparked the idea of creating an organization within the school that would rival gang recruitment while promoting personal achievement and social justice for the community. Part of our mission is to convert negative perceptions of young Black and Latino males at Trenton Central High School into positive and progressive perceptions by promoting and supporting academic success, brotherhood, service to community, and leadership.
