As a Traffic Plan Flagger, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of workers, commuters, and people passing along by monitoring traffic through utility and construction work sites.

Overtime possibilities:
Overtime is always offered at Traffic Plan and it is always at YOUR DISCRESION whether you'd like to participate! The unique feature of this company is that overtime is paid daily after an 8 hour work day!
NO MORE WAITING 40 HOURS BEFORE GETTING YOUR OVERTIME COMPENSATION!
Overtime Rates:
• Time and a half after 8 hours of work DAILY.
• Time and a half for any overnight emergency work.
• Time and a half for Saturday work
• Double time for any work done on Sundays.
Responsibilities of the Flagger Position:
• Controls movement of vehicular traffic through construction projects.
• Distributes traffic control signs & markers along site in designated pattern.
• Controls movement of traffic through site using sign, hand, & flag signals.
• Warns construction workers when approaching vehicle fails to heed signals to prevent accident & injury to workers.
• Informs drivers of detour routes through construction sites.
• Drive Company trucks as needed.
(The position does change locations each day as you will be positioned where Traffic Control is needed.)
Qualifications:
• Valid Driver's License
• Able to pass a drug test
• Comfortable standing 8-12 hours a day in any kind of weather
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
