🦺 Safety Tip - Machine guards are there to help protect you from moving parts, cutting areas, and other hazards. They should only be removed when necessary for specialty cuts and only by properly trained personnel.

Never bypass or remove a guard unless you are authorized and trained to do so. A few extra seconds of caution can help prevent a serious injury.

- Steven’s Story

A few weeks ago, Steven walked into our office looking for his next opportunity. He was focused, determined, and doing his best to complete the application process, so our team stepped in to help him get started and answer his questions along the way.

During his interview, Steven shared that his longtime job was coming to an end and that he was one of the final employees staying on until the company closed its doors. With a large family depending on him, finding the right next opportunity mattered.

At first, Steven decided to wait for a position that better matched the pay he was looking for. But even after saying no, he stayed in touch with us — and we stayed in touch with him.

Soon after, he brought his son into the office to apply, and we were able to help his son get started at a company near by.
That experience changed Steven’s perspective.

He later told us that what stood out most wasn’t just the job opportunities — it was the way he was treated. We helped him with his application, answered his calls, worked on his resume, and continued supporting him even after he had turned down an opportunity.

He appreciated that we never gave up on him.

Then came the call we had been hoping to make: there were new openings at the company for both Steven and his nephew. He was thrilled!!

Steven’s story is a reminder that sometimes what feels like a small act of support can mean much more to someone else. A little patience, respect, and encouragement can help someone keep moving forward.

Sometimes, we’re not just helping someone find a job.
