Kyra is celebrating 13 YEARS at GLISS!

Today, we're celebrating an incredible milestone and an even more incredible team member! For 13 years, Kyra has been an essential part of the GLISS team, filling many roles throughout the years before finding her home as a key member of our payroll department.

No matter the department, you bring professionalism, patience, and grace to everything you do. Your ability to navigate challenging situations, communicate thoughtfully, and keep things running smoothly makes a difference every single day. Your dedication and willingness to step in wherever needed have helped shape GLISS into the company it is today.

Daniel’s Story –

There was a time when Daniel felt completely lost. After losing his nephew to violence, the weight of that grief pulled him into a dark place. It was the kind of pain that changes you—leaving him disconnected, without direction, and unsure if anything ahead could be better.

What he needed most during that time was stability. He knew his life wasn’t where it needed to be, but he didn’t yet know how to change it. He searched high and low for a routine that would give him what we was searching for. One day he walked into GLISS, while he thought a staffing agency might not provide him the consistency that he needed to feel stability he gave us a shot anyway.

We were given a chance to change his mind and help him get back to a routine. He started to feel HOPE again. All it took was someone stepping into his life—someone positive, someone who believed in him—for Daniel to begin seeing new possibilities.

The turning point came when he made a decision: he was going to live differently, not just for himself, but to honor his nephew’s memory. That choice didn’t erase the pain, but it gave it purpose. With support and guidance, Daniel began building a new path forward—one rooted in growth, accountability, and hope.

Since then, he’s made meaningful changes. He’s stepped away from negative influences and chosen to surround himself with people who want to see him succeed. He’s committed to making better decisions, staying productive, and continuing to move forward—even on the hard days.

Looking back, Daniel knows there are places and patterns he won’t return to. Now, instead of carrying everything on his own, he leans on the people who care about him and isn’t afraid to ask for help when he needs it.

His message is simple but powerful: change is possible. No matter how heavy things feel, there is still a way forward. Keep going. Believe that something better is ahead.
