Brief Description:

A Technician is responsible for performing daily scheduled jobs including Complete System Maintenances, Extended Service Plans, replacement fabric installations, system installations, and other general repairs and installation of automatic pool cover systems. They are expected to be punctual, reliable, willing to learn, maintain a positive attitude, keep up with our fast-paced environment, and be dedicated to the goals of our company.

Core Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently
-Requires strenuous physical exertion with prolonged periods of standing, crouching, kneeling, lifting, and bending
-Must have a valid Drivers License and a good standing Drivers History.
-Basic knowledge and use of tools
-Has worked as a technician’s assistant and has proven ability to work at a higher level
-Ability to follow directions and work with a team
-Ability to use/learn to use a smartphone or tablet device to report on job

An exciting Technician Assistant opportunity is available in Frederick, MD.

A Technician Assistant is responsible for assisting other technicians and area leaders with the maintenance and installation of automatic pool covers.

Pay Rate: 17-18/hour

Responsibilities:
Ensure trucks, warehouse and work areas are kept clean and organized
Appropriately tie down extrusions to vehicle racks
Load vehicle with tools and equipment needed for scheduled jobs
Carry tools and materials from vehicle to jobsite
Learn/perform/assist all steps of a Basic System Maintenance and Box cleaning
Learn/install Underguide track on pools with or without water in under 3 hours
Change ropes on cover systems with detachable rope sliders and wire-on sliders
Change sliders on all systems
Utilize service app and accurately record job information promptly

Requirements:
Basic knowledge and use of tools
Ability to follow directions of a Technician
Willingness to learn
A valid Driver's License and a good standing driving history
Must be able and willing to work overtime hours

We are looking for Assistant Technicians to join our team! Candidates will be responsible for assisting in field installations, and repairs across various locations. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team player who is reliable, willing to learn, and who can keep up with a fast-paced environment. Pool cover experience is not required. REQUIREMENTS:

Responsibilities:

Assist Technicians with field repairs and or installations of automatic pool covers
Assist in gathering tools and necessary equipment
Support Technicians with day-to-day workload
Communicate effectively with Team Members
Ensure cleanliness of the service area

Qualifications:

Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse, and or various worksites throughout the workday
Prior technician experience is preferred but not required
Ability to stand, sit, kneel, crawl repetitively throughout the workday
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
Safety consciousness and awareness
Ability to use hand tools (grinders, drills, Sawzall, chop saw)
This position requires consistent exposure to outdoor elements, including hot and cold temperatures
Willingness to learn, and take direction from team members/leader
