Friday is for the members!

Shout out to the crew down in New Bedford on the VW1 project! Some members have been on this project for over 2 years and haven’t skipped a beat.

This project has created many jobs for our members, especially graduates of our partner pre-apprenticeship programs Building Futures & Building Pathways South.

We have never seen a job where so many apprentices got elevated to foreman positions because of their work ethic and leadership- something to be proud of!

Not pictured is the night shift crew (but your day shift crew promised to photoshop you in 😂)

To all the other 1121 members out there, make sure to send in pictures to your reps if you’d like them featured. Of course, make sure you have permission to share depending on the job you’re on.

Congratulations to 3rd year apprentice Heather Gonsalves who was selected by Instructor Tom Ross for the Milwaukee Tool “Apprentice of the month” Award for March 2025.

Heather continues to excel each week in Related and Hands-On training.

Here at Building Pathways South hands-on training is a requirement for our curriculum, teaching our participants proper handling and use of power tools, hand tools, and materials. We provide everyone with the proper PPE to ensure a safe training experience. Our Lead Instructor Tom Akers ensures everyone receives thorough and proper training.

Thank you to the North Atlantic States Carpenters Training Fund of Millbury, MA for providing an ample work space for us!
