About This Opportunity

Integrity Technical Services, Inc. is assisting a Columbus, Ohio area Civil Engineering Firm that seeks to hire a Civil Transportation Engineer who has experience working on municipal roadways, roundabouts, trails, heavy highway, safety studies, green and complete street designs, and more for ODOT, LPA, and Non-LPA clients across Ohio.

Responsibilities

* Create comprehensive, detailed engineering plans for municipal roadways, heavy highways, roundabouts, and complete street designs

* Utilize AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce engineering drawings and digital models

* Conduct detailed engineering research, analyze data traffic patterns, and prepare technical plans to support optimal design solutions

* Perform field reviews, execute highway safety studies, and provide accurate project cost estimations

* Author technical documentation and perform quality checks to ensure all project plans meet industry and regulatory standards

* Represent the firm at client meetings and industry networking events, fostering strong professional relationships

Requirements

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)

* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is required; a Professional Engineer (PE) License in Ohio is highly preferred

* Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on civil engineering design experience with roadways / transportation infrastructure

* Familiar with ODOT Road / Highway Standards and specifications

* Proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, or similar civil design software platforms.

* Analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.
