The 2026 Washington Town & Country Fair Queen Contestants spent part of their day visiting Empac Group and Empower, and as always, their annual visit brought smiles and excitement to everyone!
The contestants learned about the meaningful work and all the wonderful programs offered at Empac Group and Empower. Everyone truly enjoyed the visit, but the highlight was when the ladies were treated like royalty and given their very own tiaras!
Thank you, ladies, for spending time with us and making such a positive impact on our day. We wish each of you the very best of luck in this year's competition. No matter who takes home the crown, you're all queens in our eyes!

EMPAC Group Summer Work Program Spotlight

Our 6-week Summer Work Program is off to a great start! This year, 28 students from area school districts are gaining valuable work experience while earning a paycheck. The program is designed for high school juniors who are preparing to enter their senior year, helping them build confidence, develop job skills, and explore future employment opportunities.

We are proud to have students working at 8 different locations this summer, including many of our longtime community partners and a few exciting new sites.

Today's featured location is Exceptional Equestrians Mo. Valley. What a wonderful place to spend the day working alongside beautiful horses and an incredibly kind and supportive staff. We are grateful for the opportunity they provide our students to learn, grow, and contribute in such a positive environment.

Thank you, Exceptional Equestrians Mo. Valley for being part of our Summer Work Program and helping these students succeed!
