Since we are 9 days into Spring, here are 9 tips to ensure a successful interview!

1. Research the company and the position. It is important to show the interviewer that you are invested in the company.
2. Practice interview questions. There are many common interview questions online and practicing them OUT LOUD can help with confidence when in the interview.
3. Dress to impress! First impressions are important so keep that in mind when getting ready for an interview. Being well groomed and presentable are going to help things go in your favor.
4. Arrive EARLY. There is no better way to show the interviewer that you respect and appreciate their time.
5. Listen carefully to each question and answer as directly as possible. Focus on showcasing your strengths without unnecessary extra verbiage.
6. Remain positive, calm and engaged through the entire interview. Keep in mind body language and tone of voice are noticed.
7. Come to the interview with a few prepared questions. A good question can catch the attention of the interviewer and keep your interview in their mind.
8. Thank the interviewer for their time. This is simple but leaves a good impression.
9. Follow up after the interview while also being patient and understanding of the hiring process.
