Job Title: Test Operator 2
Location: Milpitas
Minimum experience: requires 6-12 months of related experience.
Pay rate
* Test Operator 2 - $22.00 per hour plus 10% shift differential for swing shift (3:00pm-11:30pm)

Physical Demands
regularly required to stand,repetitive motion,walk,sit,and reach.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, with the aid of a handcart. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Position/ Knowledge/ Requirements
* Tests electronic products, components and systems for electrical continuity and function and reliability on a variety of test platforms and static/dynamic stress chambers.
* Ensure products have seal integrity using fluids in leak testing procedures. Determine if the product passes based on pressure dropping test procedures.
* Test products using destructive test processes to determine if the bonding process is proper and completed. Responsible for stopping the line if any product fails the destructive test requirements.
* Determines if the designated product passes all test cycles. Collects diagnostic information needed to isolate any product failure.
* Enters test yield data into appropriate statistical process control systems.
* Notifies the appropriate test/quality engineer if test yields drop below acceptable levels.
* Inspects product for the correct placement and orientation of untested components.
* Inspects product for any physical damage or contamination.
* Place the appropriate test marks on all electronics pass tests.
* Runs tester diagnostics at specified intervals.
* Performs routine preventive maintenance at specified intervals on testers, chambers, fixtures, carrier cards, etc.
* Demonstrates basic manufacturing line knowledge and participates in the process. To perform the major job responsibilities the use of the following tools may be required: Electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, mechanical assembly; Testing: oscilloscope, cable & harness testing, troubleshooting, component testing, logic analyzer; Inspection: PCB loaded; Office Skills: data entry, software ability to understand and receive work instructions from line lead, supervisor/manager and manufacturing support. Typically requires close supervision.
