The Certified Professional Coding Program

Medical coding positions can be found in virtually every hospital, clinic, and doctors office. Medical coders are in high demand because they have a particular skill set and need to obtain a coding certification before they can be hired. In MCTI’s Coding program, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to succeed as a medical coder.

The Coding program focuses on all of the information covered by the AAPC exam, the billing and coding certification test that every medical coder must pass. Throughout the course, you’ll learn the ins and outs of the medical coder’s job and go through rigorous coding exam preparation. You’ll take the coding practice exam multiple times to ensure that you’re ready for the real thing. After fourteen to sixteen weeks and ample practice with the coding certification practice test, you’ll be ready to ace the AAPC exam and step into a lucrative career as a medical coder.

Our Philosophy

At MCTI, student success comes first. Other programs care more about their enrollment numbers than about how many of their students actually succeed. MCTI has a different philosophy. Instructors at MCTI are certified (CPC-I) to teach the CPC curriculum and are all highly trained professionals in the field they teach. Instructors and administrators work together to ensure that the coursework is straightforward, complete, and up to date. Our goal is to give every student the tools they need to successfully pass their AAPC coding exam.

A big part of that goal is making sure that every student can afford the program and not have the burden of student loans and outrageous costs as soon as they finish the course. MCTI offers a payment plan for those students that need this option.
