Manpower is currently hiring of a Maintenance Technician at the Nike AIR MI factory in St.Charles! Come join the legacy of Nike through Manpower!

As our Maintenance Technician, you'll work with a highly motivated team skilled in the trade of industrial maintenance to maintain and repair plastics manufacturing equipment in extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding processes. There are a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic components to apply your troubleshooting skills. You will employ a variety of hand and power tools, meters, computers, measuring devices, machine shop equipment, detailed drawings, schematics and manufacturer's publications to repair and ensure proper maintenance and operation of our manufacturing equipment and building systems. You'll perform scheduled, preventive maintenance, respond to equipment breakdown calls and participate in projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment and building systems.

We currently have an opening on the following shift(s):
B Shift: Monday - Thursday: 5:30 pm - 5:30 am
C Shift: Friday - Sunday: 5:30 am - 5:30 pm

Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
3 years' industrial maintenance experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
Post high school Technical/Vocational school degree or education or related
Military training with industrial electrical experience is preferred.
Electrical troubleshooting skill with ability to work up to 480 volt 3 phase circuitry.
Strong troubleshooting skills within the areas of mechanical, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience working with basic hand tools, machine shop equipment, precision measuring instruments, Volt/Ohm meters, amp meters, cutting and welding equipment.
Personal computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft office and computerized maintenance management systems. SAP a plus.
Experience working with extrusion, thermoform, and injection mold processing equipment and its support equipment such as material dryers, loaders and transfer systems is preferred.
Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and variable frequency drives preferred
Ability to work 12 hour shifts, including possible evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Able to operate fork truck, man lift and scissors lift.
Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs

Manpower is currently hiring of Forklift/Material Handlers at the Nike AIR MI factory in St.Charles! Come join the legacy of Nike through Manpower!

As our Material Handler I, you'll provide shipping, receiving, scrap removal, recycling, material handling, and forklift operation services to Production and customers under supervision. You will pickup and load finished outgoing goods onto trailers, complete shipping documentation, schedule pickups, and confirm orders in an integrated computer system to relieve inventory and start the invoice process. You will also receive and verify incoming loads against packing slips, resolve discrepancies, and deliver to the appropriate departments. You will remove raw materials scrapped from the floor, supply Production with empty Gaylords, prepare material for shipment, fill out packing lists, and email copies to recipients. This opportunity also involves supplying the Production floor with raw materials and supplies and tracking inventory on-hand. In addition, you'll recycle cardboard, banding, shrink-wrap, and maintain a clean warehouse.

Shifts available:
B Shift- Monday-Thursday 5:30pm - 5:30am (Nights)
C Shift- Friday- Sunday 5:30am- 5:30pm (Days)

Qualifications
1+ years of shipping and receiving experience within a manufacturing warehouse, or equivalent environment
Excellent communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks to achieve maximum productivity
Forklift experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend and stand during entire shift
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly in order to work with vendors, internal staff and peers
Good basic reading and writing skills
Demonstrated attention to detail skill
Basic knowledge of entering and verifying information using a computer system
