Job Title: Video Editor
Position Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to assemble recorded footage into engaging, high-quality video content. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, experience with professional editing software, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video footage into polished final products for digital, social media, marketing, training, and promotional purposes.
Review footage and select the best takes, scenes, and audio tracks.
Add graphics, transitions, effects, captions, and animations as needed.
Color correct and enhance video quality.
Mix and synchronize audio, music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
Collaborate with marketing, creative, and production teams to understand project goals.
Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and messaging.
Manage and organize video assets, files, and project archives.
Meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Stay current with video editing trends, techniques, and software updates.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of video editing experience.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting requirements.
Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation techniques.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating content for social media platforms.
Photography or videography experience.
Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
Portfolio demonstrating creative editing and storytelling abilities.
