JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for assembling and inspecting seating systems used in vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to strict safety and quality standards, and the ability to follow technical specifications and engineering drawings.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Seat Assembly will work closely with the Production Manager and Production Lead and provide support across production -
· Assemble seating systems and components according to detailed work instructions, blueprints, and engineering specifications
· Install mechanical and safety components such as harnesses, cushions, and structural elements
· Perform inspections and functional testing to ensure compliance with military and company quality standards
· Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
· Identify and report defects, inconsistencies, or nonconforming materials
· Maintain accurate production and quality records
· Follow all safety procedures, including handling specialized materials and equipment
· Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to resolve assembly issues
· Meet production schedules and efficiency targets
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or aerospace production environments preferred but not required
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical documents, and work instructions
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
· Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with assembly tools.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Physical requirements (standing, lifting, bending, etc.)
· Involves exposure to dust, noise, machinery, and varying temperatures
· Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) require
