🎉Employee of the Month🎉

Please join us in congratulating Micah B. on being named our June Employee of the Month!

Micah joined our team in August 2024 as a Quality Control Analyst and has successfully career-pathed into his current role as a Quality and Training Administrator, supporting one of our valued customers in Fountain Valley, California.

When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Micah shared that he appreciates the behind-the-scenes aspects of the position and enjoys seeing how the department responds to new enhancements and improvements. His experience as a Quality Control Analyst provided a strong foundation for his current role, allowing him to leverage his knowledge and continue making a positive impact across the organization.

One project Micah is especially proud of is the HSA Select project, which he described as both interesting and extensive. He was pleased with the successful rollout and the minimal issues experienced throughout implementation.

Outside of work, Micah has a unique claim to fame—he is a part owner of the Green Bay Packers! As the owner of one share, he is invited to attend the team’s annual shareholder meeting. He also enjoys golfing, hiking, camping, traveling, and spending quality time with his family.

His go-to productivity tip? Taking at least five minutes during lunch to enjoy sunshine and stand barefoot in the grass. He also prioritizes exercise during his lunch break whenever possible.

When asked what he enjoys most about working with the Advantage Technical - Vehicle Services Group, Micah shared that he values the flexibility of working remotely and appreciates the trust and autonomy he is given to get the job done—and get it done well.

Micah’s manager shared:

“Micah is a key member of the leadership team whose growth and impact continue to shape our operations. Starting as an agent, advancing to team lead, and now serving as our UAT Systems Tester, Micah brings both front-line experience and technical insight to everything he does. He plays a critical role in developing and refining enhancements that drive efficiency across our internal systems. From early mornings to late nights, Micah works tirelessly to ensure every update released into production runs smoothly and without disruption. His dedication, ownership, and commitment to continuous improvement make him an essential part of our team’s success.”

Last week, during RGF Connect’s Global Week of Impact, members of our team had the privilege of volunteering with Dress for Success Worldwide in Ypsilanti, Michigan! 👗 👜 👠

Dress for Success empowers women to achieve economic independence through professional attire, career development, and a strong network of support. Their mission aligns closely with RGF Connect, RGF Staffing’s global social impact initiative focused on reducing employment barriers and expanding access to meaningful work for individuals who are often underrepresented in the workforce.

Representing VSG were Andrea Schimmelpfenneg, Director of Recruiting; Chloe Jansen, Employee Relations Representative; Mary Budzinski, Operations Compliance Specialist; and Michelle Po***ck, Senior Technical Recruiter.

During our visit, we toured the facility, learned more about the organization’s impactful programs, and helped prepare gift bags for an upcoming event. Chloe and Michelle also assisted in organizing the makeup room, while Andrea and Mary helped organize the jewelry area.

It was inspiring to see firsthand how Dress for Success helps women build confidence and prepare for career opportunities through professional clothing, career resources, and supportive programming.

We are seeking a Port Quality Auditor to support one of our valued customers in West Point, Georgia. This exciting opportunity will support the Port Quality Team during the startup of a new vehicle model being produced at the plant.

In this role, you will conduct daily quality audits on approximately 40 vehicles per day across all Georgia-produced models, ensuring vehicles meet the highest quality standards before delivery.

Key Responsibilities include:

✅ Final line and quality check audits
✅ First Point of Rest (FPOR) inspections
✅ Interior inspections, including features, functionality, cleanliness, and material verification
✅ Exterior evaluations, including paint quality and damage assessment
✅ Under-hood inspections, including fluid level verification, leak checks, and functionality assessments
✅ PIO (Pre-Installed Options) functionality verification

Requirements:

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
✔ Strong communication skills
✔ Ability to thoroughly inspect and evaluate vehicles for appearance and functional quality while identifying defects

Preferred Qualifications:

⭐ Previous vehicle inspection experience
⭐ Automotive industry background

As we close out our celebration of National Automotive Service Professionals Week, we are excited to recognize Sayed I., an FSA Software Update Technician and Diagnostic Validation Test Specialist supporting our customer in Allen Park, MI.

Sayed joined the team in December 2025 and has quickly become a valued contributor through his technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to helping others succeed. He focuses on validating vehicle diagnostics and ensuring software updates are deployed safely and successfully. He particularly enjoys diagnosing and resolving software-related vehicle issues, working through support tickets, and tackling complex cases involving recall campaigns.

After graduating from Arizona State University, Sayed explored several opportunities before finding his passion in the automotive technical space. He joined Waymo as a contractor, where he worked directly with autonomous vehicle software and operations. He provided remote support to help ensure self-driving vehicles operated safely on public roads. He later transitioned into government contracting, serving as a Dock and Test Engineering Specialist on next-generation tactical vehicles.

He is especially proud of his his work supporting the transition of autonomous vehicles to fully driverless operation on public roads during his time at Waymo. This milestone required overcoming significant software and safety challenges to ensure vehicles could safely navigate complex, real-world traffic environments without a human driver.

Working at the intersection of hardware and software has made troubleshooting second nature, and he enjoys the challenge of solving technical puzzles. He is also passionate about vegetable gardening.

Sayed says he appreciates Advantage Technical' s the family-like culture. He values the support system that is always available when challenges arise. He believes Advantage Technical provides employees with opportunities to grow while ensuring they feel supported every step of the way.

Sayed's manager says he stands out in a fast-paced environment because of his relentless drive to improve how the team operates. He is incredibly inquisitive, consistently asking thoughtful, well-informed questions that help uncover better solutions and create value for the entire team. 🚗🔧 National Automotive Service Professionals Week Spotlight 🔧🚗

We are honored to recognize Joseph A., a TAS (Technical Assistance Service) Tier 1 Technical Trainer supporting our customer in Plano, TX.

Joseph joined Advantage Technical - Vehicle Services Group in July 2014 as a Team Lead and, through his dedication, expertise, and passion for helping others succeed, transitioned into his current role as a Tier 1 Technical Trainer in August 2025.

Joseph values watching new hires grow from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to becoming confident and efficient team members. He finds it especially rewarding when they reach a point where they feel comfortable sharing their ideas and perspectives openly.

Growing up, Joseph spent countless hours helping his father and uncle with automotive projects, developing a passion for problem-solving and turning wrenches that would eventually shape his career.

He began his career as a pipe fitter in the Long Beach shipyard. When the shipyard closed, Joseph attended the American Automotive Institute to become an Automotive Smog and Engine Performance Repair Technician. He gained valuable experience working in gas stations, independent repair facilities, and Midas before moving into dealership service.

Since joining Advantage Technical, Joseph has continued to grow and make a lasting impact. He has helped develop and implement new standard operating procedures, created training materials and flowcharts to support the TAS operating system and page layout, and restructured training programs by developing a new syllabus and progress-tracking process for new team members.

His Program Manager says, with more than 11 years of TAS experience, Joe has become a true go-to resource—someone teammates can consistently rely on for his deep technical knowledge, quick thinking, and willingness to help. He helped shape a rapid diagnostic flow that streamlines case handling methods, improving consistency, speed, and overall quality of case resolution.

He has also brought teams together by organizing and supporting in-person training sessions that strengthen collaboration and ensure knowledge is shared effectively across all groups. Joseph consistently supports his colleagues, shares his knowledge freely, and helps raise the standard for the entire team.

Joseph is a Marvel enthusiast. He loves spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He’s also a longtime sports fan who enjoys baseball, football, and basketball.

Joseph says the automotive industry offers countless paths for growth and opportunity. He credits Advantage Technical for supporting his journey and providing the resources that have helped him continue to develop professionally.

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Centralization Analyst for a full-time, on-site opportunity supporting one of our customers in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This is an hourly position offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build or advance their career in HR operations and HR systems.

In this role, you will support high-volume HR operations and transaction processing across U.S. and Canadian facilities, with a focus on:

✅ HRIS data management
✅ Employee lifecycle transactions
✅ Compliance and internal controls
✅ SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) requirements

Key Responsibilities:

- Process high-volume HR transactions, including hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and leaves of absence
- Input, maintain, and audit employee data in Workday and PeopleSoft
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls
- Support HR operations across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure all transactions meet SOX guidelines and company compliance standards

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Open to recent graduates with HR or payroll experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in HR operations or HRIS environments preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems required; Workday experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams
