🌟 Friday Talent Feature: Charles S. 🌟

This Friday, we’re proud to spotlight Charles S., a valued member of the Advantage Technical Vehicle-Services Group team who supports one of our customers in Fountain Valley, California.

Charles joined us in August 2024 as a Team Lead and has continued to grow through a series of leadership and development-focused roles — from Quality and Training Specialist, to Quality and Training Administrator, and, as of June 2026, WCC (Warranty Call Center) Supervisor. 👏

When asked what he enjoys most about his current role, Charles shared that he loves the opportunity to continually learn more about the customer’s warranty operations while helping build and strengthen the WCC team. Being able to contribute to the team’s growth and success is especially rewarding for him.

Charles’ passion for automobiles began during childhood with an interest in the different types of cars he encountered. Over the years, that curiosity grew into a deeper appreciation for automotive technology and history — ultimately helping lead him to where he is today.

One of Charles’ greatest accomplishments isn’t simply a career milestone; it’s helping others grow and develop. Supporting people in their success has been incredibly fulfilling, and his leadership continues to make a meaningful impact on those around him.

Outside of his professional role, Charles is the lead sound engineer at his church, where he manages live audio production and oversees video streaming for services and events. Talk about a talent with range! When he’s not working or behind the soundboard, Charles enjoys bike riding, fishing, and recently learning how to play golf. 🎣🚴‍♂️⛳

🔎 Are you an experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong technical manufacturing background? We’re looking for a detail-oriented procurement professional to support purchasing, supplier management, sourcing, and supply chain initiatives for a leading industrial manufacturing organization.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:
- Source materials, components, and equipment while securing competitive pricing and lead times
- Work directly with suppliers to obtain quotes, specifications, quality information, and delivery schedules
- Research alternative products when preferred materials or components are unavailable
- Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams to resolve technical and quality issues
- Support supplier management, purchasing, and sourcing activities

🏆 We're incredibly proud to celebrate Evan Nedwick and Lina Chun, who have both been named 2027 American Staffing Association National Staffing Employee All Star Finalists!

Just eight finalists were selected from staffing companies across the country - and Advantage Technical - Vehicle Services Group, a Staffmark Group company, is the only organization with two finalists.

Evan started at his hometown dealership with a passion for engines and no clear path into the corporate side of the industry. A decade with Advantage Technical changed that. Service Engineer. Technical Prior Approval Analyst. Now Mobile Service Technician, supporting a major automotive manufacturer in Michigan.

Ten years of momentum never lost. Congratulations, Evan! 👏

Lina joined Advantage Technical as an entry-level Prior Approval Representative and continued to grow - first into a Team Lead, then into Training and Quality Administration, where she built the processes her team still runs on. Today, she's the Assistant Manager of Warranty Operations & Compliance, supporting a major automotive manufacturer in California.

Please join us in celebrating Jason E. on his 10-year anniversary with Advantage Technical-Vehicle Services Group on August 29th! 👏 🥳

Jason began his journey with us as a Technical Assistance Service Engineer supporting one of our valued customers in Plano, TX. On August 11, 2025, he stepped into the TAS (Technical Assistance Service) Program Manager role, where he has spent the past year demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to his team and customers.

When asked what he enjoys most about his current role, Jason shared that it’s solving problems, working closely with his team, and contributing to solutions that create real value for both the team and customers. That mindset truly reflects who Jason is.

With 22 years of experience in the automotive industry, Jason has built an incredibly diverse career spanning advanced diagnostics, fabrication and restorations, and technical support. His experience ranges from early steam-powered vehicles to today’s luxury and exotic automobiles, giving him a broad and unique perspective on automotive technology. He’s always enjoyed figuring out how things work and going fast—and the automotive industry has given him the opportunity to do both. 🏎️🔧

Over the past year in his management role, Jason has done an outstanding job leading the TAS 1 system quality launch, as well as delivering a fantastic business review and coordinating the team to ensure everyone was on site and prepared for a successful review. His professionalism, dependability, positive attitude, and commitment to giving 100% every day do not go unnoticed.

But beyond all of his professional accomplishments, Jason is most proud of being a father. Helping guide his children, supporting their growth, and watching them become capable and caring young people is his greatest achievement. ❤️

Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his kids, riding motorcycles, and soaring. And a fun fact you may not know about him? His favorite color is pink! 🩷

When asked what he enjoys most about working with Advantage Technical- Vehicle Services Group, Jason’s answer was simple: the people. He values being part of a knowledgeable, supportive team that is committed to helping one another succeed—and we certainly value having him as part of ours.

We are currently hiring two Validation Test Technicians to support one of our customers in Saginaw, Michigan — one opening on 1st shift and one on 2nd shift. These are full-time, onsite positions.

The Validation Test Technician will support validation test activities for electric power product applications and play an important hands-on role in ensuring testing is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.

What we’re looking for:
✔️ 1–3 years of relevant experience in engineering or automotive
✔️ Mechanical knowledge and strong computer skills
✔️ Experience with Microsoft Office programs
✔️ Ability to follow laboratory test instructions and execute testing accurately
✔️ Strong ability to meet scheduled timing commitments
✔️ Ability to lift 60 pounds repeatedly
✔️ Hands-on, organized, and structured work style
✔️ Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
✔️ Self-starter who can work independently while demonstrating excellent teamwork
✔️ Willingness to understand and strictly adhere to safety protocols
✔️ Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your team

Education Requirements:
- A minimum of a 2-year Associate’s degree OR 3 years of military experience
- Engineering education is preferred, but not required
