As the FY 2023 Recruting year comes to a close, I cant help but reflect on what an amazing year it has been.
If you would have told me this time last year, that as a Rookie, I would be the top producing National Guard recruiter in the state of Mississippi, and number 28th out of 3,900 in the Nation, I never would have believed you. If you would have told me, that I would be the first recruiter in the State of Mississippi to complete their assigned mission, and set state recruting records in the process, I never would have believed you. If you would have told me, that I would have the pleasure of helping 22, great young men and women, join the best organization in the world, I never would have believed you. But, that truly is what being in the National Guard is all about, Isn't it? Accomplishing the things that we never thought possible. Seeing hard work and dedication pay off. I thank God, for allowing me to be that vessel, for allowing me the privilege to help others on their paths to success. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to help mentor and mold so many future leaders. And It is with great anticipation, that I eagerly look forward to what the next recruiting year has in store.
