From this office, recruiters will meet with individuals interested in service, answer questions about career paths, education benefits, training opportunities, and guide future soldiers through the enlistment process.

The National Guard strives to be the face of the communities that they serve and we are excited that the move to Silo Square will provide a more central presence in  the Southaven and DeSoto County communities!

It’s always nice being promoted, but getting promoted to Sergeant First Class is a huge moment in my military career. I am forever grateful for the support of my family and friends that have helped me grow into the leader I am today.

🪖 Elise will attend Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma this Summer. She will then attend Advance Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston.

After training, she will then return home to attend college to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing. 🩺

💰Elise will receive the Mississippi Army National Guard’s General Scholarship, the Montgomery G.I. Bill, Montgomery G.I. Bill Kicker, and a $20,000 enlistment bonus! 🤑
