Manage engineering staff of 8-10 internally. Maintain and develop outside engineering resources. Supervise design teams. Forecast manpower requirements for upcoming orders and resource leveling. Monitor technical content of design activity. Develop and maintain multiple department budgets. Hire, train, manage, and coach mechanical engineering staff. Provide technical oversight in design reviews. Monitor project financial and schedule performance. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science is required. In the absence of a Bachelor’s degree, at least 10 years of engineering design experience is required.
