Legacy of Love, Inc. Legacy of Love was founded to honor a mother who died of cancer. Her dream is being carried on by her daughter and her friend, who is a cancer survivor.

We are a company founded on one simple concept - love. Jorry is the founder of the company and the one who keeps us organized and headed in the right direction. When Jorry was in her early twenties she lost her mother, Mary, to breast and liver cancer. Before Mary died, she came up with an idea to write a story about elves, gnomes and fairies and pair it with garden Statuary. Unfortunately, Mary d

ied before she could see her idea come to fruition. Her daughter, Jorry, has stepped up to finish her mother's legacy. Jorry asked her friend Tammy to help make her mother's dream come true, that created a beautiful partnership and our wonderful little company, Legacy of Love, Inc. was born. Our goal is to have two divisions - Legacy of Love books and Legacy of Love gardens - or as we affectionately call them LOL books and LOL gardens. The legacy of love that Jorry is undertaking for her mother has a bit of an interesting twist. Mary lost her battle with this insidious disease. Tammy is a breast cancer survivor and she is helping bring Mary's dream to completion. Chloe is the third member of our team. Chloe is the artist who does our illustrations. While Tammy creates the stories and characters, Chloe breathes life into them. The stories center around a place called Firefly Fields and the creatures who live there, elves, fairies, trolls, gnomes and a few humans. Each story will teach a valuable lesson while still being engaging for children. The first book, Celebration at Firefly Fields, deals with thinking before you act, accepting responsibility for your actions and the consequences we face because of them. Another book, The Bully of Firefly Fields, will deal with bullying and how to stop a bully. The books also teach how to be a good caretaker of our environment. We are in the first phase of building our company and creating our products. During this first stage, we will be doing a Kick-starter to get us started with getting the first book published and developing the concept and to do a prototype of the first couple character statues.

Due to some continuous changeovers in staffing and help, we will be closing our doors for some major restructuring. We hope to get back on track at some point in the near future and will keep you up-to-date when we finally have our launch date set.

Mary Ellen Fellenz had an idea for a book and a garden statuary to bring the book to life. Before she could turn her ideas into products or a business, she died of cancer.

Thank you to everyone that has Liked and Shared our story and video. As we head in to November, it appears that we will not make our Backing Goal on Kickstarter.

If you Backed us, and are still interested in helping get the Garden Club started and allowing us to get a draft of the book printed, and are willing to just get a big Thank You on our page and on our website, please feel free to send your donations to Legacy of Love, Inc. at our business address. The Backing Donation you made on Kickstarter has not been charged - and if you still have a temp hold on your card, that will fall off by the week's end since we did not make our goal.

Well - as much as we try to be a positive company, we unfortunately think we will need to postpone the fist book being published indefinitely. Although we have gotten many "LIKES", and a lot of shares, and our posts have been seen by over 7,000 as of this morning, we are not getting any donations to our Kickstarter.

We will instead refocus on getting the monthly subscription program up and running and when we have the funds to publish the book, we will get it out.

Of course, there are still 7 days to keep the original business plan in play. All we need to do is get people to actually give not just "like" and "share".
