A great local company has an opening for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant that will report directly to the West Coast Site Manager. The pay is $20 per hour and the standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7am – 3pm.
This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities: greeting employees & vendors, answering/directing phone calls, word processing, typing letters of official correspondence, filing electronic and hard copy documents, generating official travel arrangements, managing expense travel expense reports, data entry and schedule meetings. Candidate must be detail oriented, willing and able to learn multiple text processing software platforms, able to work independently and to perform under schedule pressure. Candidate must be able to adapt as the workload and position requirements change.
Required:
High School diploma / GED or equivalent required
Minimum of 3 year project administration or administrative services experience required. This is not an entry level position.
Strong, well defined verbal and written communication skills are required.
Ability to multitask
Preferred:
Some College preferred
Computer skills in Microsoft Suit (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
Cross training of office functions will be expected to ensure coverage of responsibilities.
Candidate must be willing to adapt as position requirements change.
Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance or higher.
The candidate must possess strong analytical, causal analysis, communication, organizational, planning, and writing skills under minimal supervision.
The successful candidate will be expected to know, comply with and participate in site improvement goals for Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule and Continuous Improvement
