Today, Global Solutions International pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the extraordinary courage and sacrifice that followed.
We remember the firefighters, law enforcement officers, paramedics, and first responders who ran toward danger when others were running to safety.
We remember the American citizens who helped strangers, cared for the injured, comforted one another, andโin the case of the passengers and crew of Flight 93โdemonstrated extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.
And we remember the men and women of the United States Armed Forces who answered our nation's call in the years that followed. We honor those who served, those who returned home forever changed, those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the families who carried that sacrifice with them.
September 11 showed us that heroes do not always wear the same uniform.
Some wore turnout gear.
Some wore a badge.
Some wore the uniform of our Armed Forces.
And some were simply Americans who refused to leave another American behind.
Twenty-five years later, their courage still speaks to who we are and who we should strive to be.
Today, we remember them all.
May we never forget the lives we lost.
May we never forget those who answered the call.
May we never forget the unity that brought our nation together.
One nation. One people. Forever grateful.
๐บ๐ธ We Remember. We Honor. We Will Never Forget. ๐บ๐ธ
