For any of the open positions at HR Metrics, Inc. we ask that applicants apply in person at your closest branch office. Many applicants have questions about what they need to do when they apply and what our application process is like. Below you’ll find our most frequently asked questions we receive about our application process.

When can I start working?

Many of our positions allow you to apply one day and then start the very next day, or possibly even the same day.

2. What paperwork do I need to bring with me?

You will need to bring two forms of identification with you. These can include a valid state ID, your social security card or birth certificate, a passport, or a resident card. We will need this to confirm your identity and that you are eligible to work.

3. Do I need to bring a resume?

It’s always a good idea to have a resume ready to go when you apply for any job. When you apply, it is recommended to bring your resume, but at the very least be prepared with full contact information from your three most recent work experiences.

4. How long does the application process take?

You should allow up to 2 hours for the entire application process. We will have you fill out paperwork, check equipment certifications, and help you get equipment certifications as needed. You should always arrive to your interview alone. We understand some people might be nervous to apply or need to take the time to have someone else watch your children, but attending your interview by yourself proves you are serious about taking on this position and shows that you are a professional in your career.

5. Do I need to wear any specialized clothing?

You will need to wear or bring in work boots so we can confirm they will meet our safety standards for working in the distribution center. Work boots do not need to be steel toe, but should go up above the ankle and be suitable for varying conditions in a warehouse environment. Clothing should be clean and work appropriate - long pants (jeans are fine) with no rips or tears and shirts should be free from inappropriate sayings or images. Since many areas of the warehouse are cold, we recommend bringing a jacket or dressing in layers. Safety is the #1 priority at HR Metrics, Inc. and that begins with making sure everyone has the right equipment needed to stay safe on the job.

6. What else will I need?

Make sure the day you apply that you have reliable transportation. We may send you to the warehouse for a tour or equipment certification. It is imperative that you can get to and from the warehouse reliably during this process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and manage all operational programs as directed by Admin and the Operations Manager. High level of computer and WMS system literacy.

Basic Duties:

Reduce loss, maintain inventory control.
Identify potential for loss and develop strategies to eliminate it.
Perform inventory investigations in response to shrink results outside of acceptable ranges.
Conduct internal investigations of problems such as employee theft and violations of corporate loss prevention policies.
Investigate or interview individuals suspected of shoplifting or internal theft.
Monitor compliance to operational, safety, or inventory control procedures, including physical security standards.
Walk production floor to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
