During National Police Week, we honor and remember the brave men and women of law enforcement who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting their communities. This week serves as a time to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment demonstrated by officers, past and present.

We also remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Their service, dedication, and legacy will never be forgotten.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our community for your continued support. Together, we remain committed to building trust, enhancing public safety, and strengthening the partnership between law enforcement and the citizens we proudly serve. 🚓🌹💙

For National Police Week, we want to honor and remember Sergeant Walter David Lowe Sr., who tragically lost his life in the line of duty on November 13th, 1979, when his police motorcycle was struck from behind by a drunk driver. Sergeant Lowe is one of the two officers our Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge is named after.

His sacrifice serves as a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers faced by law enforcement officers every single day.

Rest in peace, Sergeant Walter David Lowe Sr.
Your watch is over, but your legacy endures.
