🚧 ‼️ ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE ‼️ 🚧
Please be aware of an upcoming major traffic change:
📅 Saturday, December 13th – Sunday, December 21st
⛔ Exit 35 (KY 53 / Mt. Eden Road) WESTBOUND — coming from Frankfort — will be FULLY CLOSED.
This closure is necessary to rebuild the off-ramp and prepare for the traffic shift onto the new section of the KY 53 / Exit 35 bridge.
To keep your travel smooth, here are the QUICKEST ALTERNATE ROUTES:
➡️ Waddy Exit (Exit 43 – KY 395)
Take KY 395 to US 60, then come into Shelbyville from that direction.
➡️ Graefenburg Exit (Exit 48 – KY 151)
Take KY 151 to US 60 and follow it into town.
➡️ Walmart Exit (Exit 32 – Taylorsville Road)
You can go past the closure and use Exit 32, then backtrack into Shelbyville.
As this is a lengthy closure, it’s a good idea to try out these alternate routes and get comfortable with them ahead of time.
