Shelby County Sheriffs Office is looking to hire a full time Correctional Officer

Applications may be picked up at 151 N. Morgan in Shelbyville, Monday-Friday from 8a-4p.

Starting pay: $22.80/hr (increase after 1 yr probation)
Position availability: Night shift (12-hr shift with rotating days off and every other weekend off)
Requirements:
▪️Valid Illinois Drivers License
▪️Valid F.O.I.D. card
▪️High school diploma or equivalent certificate
▪️Pass a thorough background check
▪️Must be willing to accept any assignment or shift, and work any scheduled holiday

Training isn’t required. If hired, it is mandatory to attend an 8 week training course within the first year of employment.
