UPDATE: MA Sick Time Laws
Effective July 1, 2015, all Massachusetts employers will be required to provide earned sick time for their employees.
In addition to providing earned sick time, employers are responsible for the record keeping of their employees’ accrued and used sick time. This means that for each pay period, employers should be tracking their employees’ time worked, calculating the amount of sick time accrued, and accounting for any sick time used since the last pay period.
