Network Engineer

Are you an expert in network related technologies such as switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access, VoIP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and QoS configurations? Are you looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills in configuring, deploying, and operating network infrastructure? Look no further! We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities for this position include configuring network devices and services, performing network setup and upgrades, troubleshooting network malfunctions, daily monitoring of network and equipment health, recommending design improvements, and executing standard operating procedures. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing system and product training to lower level staff.

To be considered for this position, you must have extensive and proven experience in server and storage architectures, high availability clustering, monitoring tools, backup/restore, performance tuning/capacity planning, documentation, and project management. You must also have knowledge of best practices from large-scale enterprise deployments and demonstrated knowledge in solving unique and complex problems with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent five (5) years of related experience is required, as well as experience with LAN management with Cisco switches, Cisco Firewall technology management, VPN technology management, VOIP and/or Video Conferencing technology management, and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. Additionally, WAN skills such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS technologies, LAN skills such as Spanning tree, trunking, VLANs, and network management skills such as NMS products, Netflow, and SNMP are highly desired.
