Today, we honor Radar on his first heavenly birthday.

For more than twenty years, he was an integral part of the ROBRADY team: a trusted colleague and a friend to all of us. He found his greatest joy on the water, whether fishing, boating, or simply out on the ocean he loved so dearly.

We invite all who knew Radar to join us this Sunday, August 30, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the studio, as we gather to celebrate his life.

We miss you, Radar.

Saturday was for the kidpreneurs. 🍋

We spent the morning at the Kidpreneur Marketplace at Somebody’s Coffee in South St. Pete. Lemonade, baked goods, knitwear, and a pen table we could not walk past. 1st through 12th grade, every one of them running their own booth, setting their own prices, counting the change back.

Last week we hosted the crew from Auburn University's Mechanical Engineering, the School of Industrial + Graphic Design, and Career Services departments for a few days in Sarasota and showed them around the city we call home.

Rob took everyone out on Sarasota Bay aboard the Yamaha 252, a boat our team helped design alongside our friends and longtime client, Yamaha. Then back to the studio for a full walkthrough: design, engineering, prototyping, machining, 3D printing: all under one roof.

There's a difference between reading about a product in a case study and standing on the deck of one we helped bring to real life. Same goes for the shop floor.

Great conversations were had along with something exciting we'll be sharing soon... 👀 🦅
