Peter’s background - Prior to the formation of Capodice & Associates, Peter enjoyed a highly successful career in restaurant and hospitality management; and held senior level executive positions in a major Optical retail franchise chain. Capitalizing on my executive management experience and in depth industry knowledge, he formed Capodice & Associates with the goal of exceeding the current perform

Since then, Capodice & Associates has assessed thousands of the most successful senior franchise executives and identified the underlying behaviors that make their performance superior. This vision combined with an unmatched understanding of the industry, client cultures, and candidate’s personalities has allowed Capodice & Associates to set a new standard as the leader in retained executive search in regard to depth of search, candidate quality, speed of service, and maximization of the new hire’s Return on Investment. Research indicates that three distinct factors account for the majority of variance in performance, satisfaction and other workplace criteria. They are characteristics of the individual, characteristics of the situation, and the interaction of the individual and the situation. Most assessments categorize individuals based solely on their personal characteristics and do not take into account the influence of the situation, or outside environment. Other assessments measure the characteristics of the individual and only whether the situation would be favorable or unfavorable. The assessment method utilized, measures all three factors in detail and so maximizes the potential for predicting and understanding performance and satisfaction. For example, whether someone does well in an employment setting may be determined, in large part, by whether that person’s personality traits mesh with the job requirements. Job requirements go beyond hard skills and experience to include the ability to work with others or lead others productively and effectively, to exhibit and use certain personality characteristics and more.
