What You'll Do
- Receive, inspect, label, and stock maintenance parts and supplies.
- Maintain an organized, accurate, and efficient maintenance storeroom.
- Issue parts and materials to maintenance technicians and track inventory usage.
- Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment activities.
- Assist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor follow-up.
- Track incoming shipments and resolve shortages or discrepancies.
- Conduct cycle counts and support physical inventory audits.
- Prepare parts kits for preventive maintenance and planned repair work.
- Support the Maintenance Scheduler with administrative tasks, reporting, and data entry.
- Help identify obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous inventory, warehouse, storeroom, or purchasing experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with maintenance parts, tools, and MRO supplies.
- Experience with ERP, inventory management, or CMMS systems.
- Forklift experience or certification.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Work Environment:
Full-time position with varying shifts, including potential overtime and weekends.

Job duties:
- Receive incoming packages from line-haul trucks or other facilities.
- Unload and move packages into the warehouse using carts, pallet jacks, or by hand.
- Sort packages according to delivery area, route, ZIP code, or driver.
- Scan packages using handheld scanners to record their movement through the facility.
- Stage packages in designated areas so delivery drivers can quickly collect their routes.
- Load delivery vehicles in an organized and safe manner.
- Check labels and package information for accuracy and identify damaged, missing, or incorrectly routed packages.
- Handle delivery exceptions, such as packages that cannot be routed normally.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, including keeping aisles and staging areas clear.
- Follow safety procedures, particularly when lifting, moving carts, or working around trucks and other employees.
- Work at a fast pace, especially during periods when large numbers of packages arrive and need to get out to drivers the same day.

Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Reliability/transportation of your own. Unable to accommodate the bus line
- Ability to lift up to 50 #’s
- Must be able to work Saturdays

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Troubleshoot and repair heating, ventilation, air, and refrigeration equipment involving ammonia.
· Perform daily checks on all refrigeration systems/equipment as required
· Ammonia system, coolers, HVAC systems etc. as required
· Perform scheduled maintenance on evaporators and condensers
· Change and clean filters in a timely manner
· Monitor, clean, and repair plant systems (e.g., condensers, filtrations, etc.)
· Requisition parts and supplies as needed
· Inspect and clean work areas using proper tools according to policy and procedure
· Complete required paperwork in a timely manner
· Maintain and complete all required documentation following OSHA and EPA regulatory requirements (e.g., logs, records, checklist, etc.)
· May perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
· Advanced troubleshooting skills
· Excellent attention to detail
· Ability to solve problems independently
· Knowledge of Plant safety, GMP's
· Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
· Ability to be LOTO/PIT/confined space certified
· Ability to be respirator trained
· Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for position
· Regular attendance to ensure production requirements are met
· Ability to read blueprints, drawings, plans
· Knowledge of Planned Maintenance
· Excellent leadership skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Must be well organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
· Ability to work individually as well as with others as a team
· Intermediate math skills
· Basic computer skills including knowledge of spreadsheets
· Ability to complete work/purchase requests
· Minimum 2 years of refrigeration maintenance or related experience required.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to lift push or pull up to 75 pounds
· Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, and reach
· Ability to work in cold, wet, hot, and noisy environments
· Ability to work around machinery and moving equipment

Work Environment:
· Meat processing/manufacturing facility
· Exposure to:
o Cold and wet production areas
o Extremely Hot production areas
o Mechanical equipment and conveyors
o Electrical systems
o Boiler/engine room conditions
o Noise and industrial hazards
