Texas Fire Academy is proud to welcome EMT Fall Class 262 as they officially begin their journey into Emergency Medical Services!
Over the coming months, these students will be challenged in the classroom, tested through hands-on skills, and given the knowledge and experience needed to take that first step into the EMS profession.

🎓🚑 CONGRATULATIONS, TEXAS FIRE ACADEMY EMT CLASS 265! 🚑🎓
Today we celebrate the graduation of TFA EMT Class 265!

Over the past 16 weeks, these students have completed 420 hours of training, including 60 hours of field internship, countless hours of studying, hands-on skills, exams, and real-world patient care experiences. Every challenge along the way has prepared them to take the next step into the world of Emergency Medical Services.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, perseverance, and professionalism this class has demonstrated. Graduation isn't the end of the journey—it's the beginning of a career built around service, compassion, and helping others when they need it most.

A special thank you to Chief Richard Maricle of Hays County ESD 9 EMS for taking the time to join us as our guest speaker and for sharing his experience, leadership, and words of encouragement with our graduates. We truly appreciate your support of the next generation of EMS professionals.

Today, EMT Class 265 took the lead by presenting their group projects to their classmates and instructors.

Each group demonstrated the hard work, research, and teamwork that are essential to becoming a successful EMT. From patient assessment and emergency care concepts to effective communication and professionalism, these presentations showcased how much our students have grown throughout the course.

Public speaking, critical thinking, and the ability to teach others are valuable skills in EMS, and our students rose to the challenge.
Great job to everyone who presented today! Keep pushing yourselves to learn, improve, and prepare for the responsibility of caring for your future patients.
