Acara Solutions is hiring Engineering Technician's for our Fremont, CA. based business partner.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum of 2 years Semiconductor Industry Vacuum Principal/Work Experience background.
- Experience with Hand Tools, Power Tools, and Torque Wrench’s.
- Experience reading Blueprints, Schematics, OMS, and 3D Cad Drawings
- Experience with Machine or System Level Troubleshooting & Testing
- Cable Wiring Harness experience
- Come from an R&D or NPI environment
- Experience with Leak Checks of Helium or Argon
- Know how to Prep, Install and Test O-Ring Seals

Your Choice 4 Day Work Week, Schedules are:
- Front End Day Shift: - Sunday to Wednesday 5:00am to 4:00pm
- Front End Swing Shift: - Sunday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 3:30am
- Back End Day Shift: - Wednesday to Saturday 5:00am to 4:00pm
- Back End Swing Shift: - Wednesday to Saturday 4:30pm to 3:30am
NOTE: Swing Shift receives additional 10% Shift Differential Pay!!
Calculated Pay Ranges are from: $60K to $80K Depending on Experience.

Engineering Technician Job Duties:
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, such as building, testing, and auditing a complete system such as but not limited to:
01) Must be able to follow a documented build procedure and or assist in creating a documented procedure to build a tool and report any feedback to engineering.
02) Must be able to read an electrical diagram on how to route cables and make cable connections to the correct inlets or outlets.
03) Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems
04) Must be able to use a micrometer to measure materials on the floor to confirm they are in spec and of the correct sizes required.
05) Must be able to effectively communicate any issues that come up during the build of a tool using pass downs and or database logs.
06) Able to work with engineers to rework, set-up and test systems related to the production of systems, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies.
07) Able to inspect capital equipment at the system, stand-alone and sub-assembly level. The inspection will be performed at multiple phases; during assembly, post-assembly, during test, post-test, pre-shipping stages of manufacturing process and communicate with engineering and production managers on impact of defective material to schedule.
08) Write and report defective generated during the build and test process. This process includes evaluation of the defective parts, updating the problem and solution description of the defective report, interfacing with technicians, engineers, and production managers on quality defects.
09) Work in an environment of continuous improvement of standards and processes.
10) Follows stringent safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for workers and property.
11) The position requires attention to detail and excellent written and communication skills.
12) The candidate must have knowledge using Microsoft office skills; Word, Excel, Outlook and PPt. experience in SAP, and QuickBase is ideal but not required
13) TRAINING: Upon hire, you will be required to Train at the Livermore Facility for 1 month, before joining the team in Fremont
