🌊 This World Oceans Day, we’re sharing one of the highlights from our recent team retreat: volunteering together with Nicoya Peninsula Waterkeeper.

We learned about the local ecosystem, cleaned trash from the beach, sorted recycling, and helped prepare plastic to be turned into bricks used to build streets. ♻️🧱
Grateful to Waterkeeper Alliance and the 300+ Waterkeeper groups around the world working to protect clean water and the beaches we all love.

Happy World Oceans Day to everyone helping care for our shared home. 🌎💙

🍩 Happy National Donut Day! 🍩

Fun fact: National Donut Day began as a Salvation Army tradition in 1938 to honor the volunteers who served donuts to soldiers in World War I. A small act of hospitality that became a hundred-year tradition.

For a lot of churches, Sunday Donuts are a ministry in their own right. Volunteers pick them up, set them out, and clean up every single week — and those moments of fellowship over Old Fashioneds and Long Johns help build real community.
