A kind, loving family in Pac Heights is seeking an energetic and attentive nanny for their two easygoing and happy children children ages 2 years (girl) and 11 years old (boy). They are looking for an experienced and caring nanny to join their household. Dad works a demanding job and mom is a stay-at-home parent but involved in the community so they are looking for someone who is comfortable caring for their toddler during the day and tag-teaming with mom in the afternoons to care for both children. The nanny will usually have the younger child as their eldest is fairly self-sufficient, but may on occasion need to care for both kids.

Responsibilities include planning fun age-appropriate activities, managing school drop-off and pick-up, planning local outdoor excursions, helping maintain a clean and organized home, managing child laundry, and simple meal prep/cooking for the kids/family. Their ideal candidate is kind, energetic, organized, and values a tidy home, with flexibility to travel between their SF and Napa home.

TRAVEL: Occasional travel to their second home in Napa is required, mostly during the summer over 2-3 weeks, and occasionally during the winter.

**Prior ROTA experience required**

A warm, loving household in the Bay Area is seeking a dedicated 24/7 ROTA nanny to join their team and provide exceptional care for their toddler, 7-year-old, and 3rd baby due in August. The family values a positive, upbeat presence focused on learning and having fun. Responsibilities include planning age-appropriate activities and local outings, preparing simple balanced meals, child laundry and light tidying, as well as running household errands (dry cleaning, package returns) or other ad hoc requests from the Chief of Staff or Estate Manager. Someone with a calm and easygoing energy will be the best fit.

This position requires previous experience working as a live-in and/or ROTA nanny. The family travels domestically and internationally a few times a year so flexibility and willingness to travel (domestic and international) is required. Candidates should be current on vaccinations including the COVID booster, a strong communicator, and detail-oriented. They’re looking for a nanny professional who’s extremely proactive, skilled at reading the room, highly flexible, and takes feedback well.

Position requires flexibility to work with 48 hours notice during off weeks, and nannies must notify when they are traveling outside the area during off weeks.

For nannies and family assistant roles, families are seeking 2+ years of recent, in-home childcare experience as a private nanny/ family assistant. Related childcare experience such as teaching, daycare teaching, lifeguard, swim instructor, ballet teacher, etc. is all great too! Be sure to include any related experience on your resume.

Our childcare positions require that you have a driver’s license, CPR, a recent TB test and tdap vaccine. Some families are also requires up to date flu/ COVID vaccine shots.

You will also be required to agree to a pre-employment background check that includes a search for civil or criminal convictions once you are offered employment. If you’re going to work in a home with children you will need to be screened by the California Trustline registry and cleared for working with children in a private home.

In today's world, it feels like we almost all know or love someone who struggles with some sort of food allergy. Not only can food allergies be overwhelming for adults, but certainly the child who is allergic to a specific food. Young children may not fully understand the allergy and the affects it can have on their body. But the allergy can also feel isolating at school or around friends and family who do not have limitations for what they can eat.

This book is a positive resource to spread awareness and hope about food allergies among children, parents, school faculty and care givers.
