About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior/Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team in Fort Lauderdale. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP.
- Handle month-end and year-end closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Maintain and track fixed asset schedules.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with auditors during annual audits and provide required documentation.
- Support special projects and process improvements within the accounting team.

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience (public or corporate).
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Solid understanding of GAAP principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- CPA preferred, but not required.
