RSS Imperial Beach climbed First Sergeant’s Hill—not for distance, not for time, but for remembrance. 🇺🇸

This mountain stands as a tribute to the Marines and Sailors who came before us, who gave everything so others could carry on the legacy. This hike assisted our applicants understand that service is bigger than any one person, and that those who fall are never forgotten.

Every step was taken with purpose. Every breath was a reminder. We remember their sacrifice, and we carry it forward.

Never forgotten. Never left behind. ⛰️

RSS Imperial Beach sets the standard. 🇺🇸
This month’s pool function wasn’t just a hike — it was a test of endurance, mindset, and teamwork. Our applicants pushed past limits, built strength both physically and mentally, and formed bonds that represent what it means to be part of the Marine Corps family.

When you move together with purpose, you rise together. 🦅🌄

Proudly representing RSS Imperial Beach — Lance Corporal Rosas. Out of 325 Marines, he is 1 of only 2 to earn a meritorious promotion to E-3. 🔥

Though he originally considered joining the Army 🤮, fate had other plans. After ghosting Sgt Flores more than once, Sgt Navarro extended an invitation to one of our weekly PT sessions — and from that moment, everything changed. Rosas showed immediate drive, stepping up to lead, push his limits, and inspire those around him. 🦅

Through relentless effort, hours of training, and the mentorship of Marines who saw his potential, he rose above and beyond. His promotion is not just earned — it’s a reflection of the Marine he’s becoming.

Well done and Semper Fidelis. 🇺🇸
