Veterans Employment is interviewing transition service members for multiple biomedical positions nationwide. Electronics / Electrical types are typically the best fit, but others with a solid understanding of electronics have been very successful in the past.
Locations include: Omaha, NE / Richmond, VA / Minneapolis, MN / Burlington, NC / Phoenix, AZ / Newark, NJ / Denver, CO / Atlanta, GA / Houston, TX / Washington, D.C. / Cincinnati, OH / Sacramento, CA / Boston, MA / Harrisburg, PA / Portland, OR / Salt Lake City, UT / Bakersfield, CA.
Compensation includes: Salary (65-75k BOE), OT, bonus, and up to 100% paid benefits for family.
FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER/MEDICAL DEVICES:
Field Service Engineer is responsible for on-site service, repair, or troubleshooting of state-of-the-art Medical Devices and Advanced Laboratory Diagnostics to customer sites in the territory.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
On-site customer installation, field service support, remote technical support, hardware and software configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance support for all products.
Ensure repaired systems meet operating specifications, ensuring QA procedures and documentation.
Communicate design enhancements and improvements for research and implementation.
Read and interpret schematics and electrical diagrams through to the component level.
Isolate the system fault at the component level for electronic, vacuum, and mechanical systems and repair.
Extensive component-level troubleshooting. Proficient with test equipment.
Document and provide reports of parts, services, or repairs.
Complete billing or warranty documentation as needed.
Live anywhere within the assigned territory.
