October 13th marked a remarkable milestone — the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of Donald L. Mooney Enterprises, dba NURSES Etc Staffing (NES).
What began as a simple passion — a dream to build a family business that could serve others and make a difference — has grown into something truly extraordinary.
From humble beginnings, we’ve expanded into both the commercial and government sectors, providing workforce solutions that help people and organizations thrive every day.
This journey has been fueled by faith, family, and hard work. I’m deeply grateful to God for the opportunity and the people who helped make this dream real — for my children, grandchildren, and all who believe that in America, with talent, perseverance, and purpose, we can build something lasting.
We could not have reached this milestone without the support of so many:
The Small Business Administration and staff
Small Business Development Center — Mike Reyes, Morrison Woods, and their teams
Minority Business Development Agency — Fletcher Parks, Jackie Jackson, Orestes Hubbard, and staff
PTAC and their incredible staff
Special thanks to individuals who believed in DME/NES from the beginning and helped shape our journey — Mike Thornton, Julie Stewart, Kevin Kline, Anthony Parkman, Jim Barfield, Rich Hall, and Ed Bierschenck.
And of course, to our remarkable DME/NES Team — you are the heartbeat of our success. No one person can accomplish this alone. Your dedication, professionalism, and belief in our mission have carried us forward through every challenge and every triumph.
Finally, my deepest thanks to my wife, Narcissa. God blessed me with a strong, grounded partner who has stood by me through every step. Her hard work, faith, and sacrifices made DME/NES possible.
Here’s to 25 years of service, growth, and making a difference in people’s lives every day — and to the next 25 years of leading the way in workforce solutions.
