We are looking for a candidate for the position of Senior Produce Salesperson to join our US-based company which produces, imports, grows, and distributes fresh produce.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Responsible for creating a sales pipeline with current and new customers
Responsible of market and pricing research of organic and conventional produce
Responsible for the price negotiation, sales, service, retention, and growth of assigned customers
Responsible for the price negotiation, sales, service, retention, and growth of new customers brought on through your business development effort
Responsible for investigating and qualifying potential new customers, in alignment with the company’s sales plan.
Plans and executes a travel schedule for visiting key customers to conduct in-person business reviews, and to strengthen relationships.
Attends industry and customer-specific trade shows and events.
Work in all aspects of day-to-day operations including incoming and outgoing calls, emails and order entry as required.
Due Diligence of potential leads (Trade References, Blue Book research, Eolis Research)
Perform other duties as required.
