🚨Allow me to introduce RSS South Park’s newest member, Poolee Borrego! She’s officially part of the family now. For some people the process takes months. For others it’s as little as a couple weeks. This young woman is highly motivated and determined to take her life in a new positive direction and is headed for success. She originally planned to join the Air Force like more than half of the people I talk with in San Antonio. But after sitting down and seeing what it is that makes Marines different, and why it would be a better choice for her than the Air Force, she took the decision to choose US instead. The Marines will support her personal growth and allow her to live out her dreams and goals when it comes to her personal beliefs and travel plans. She’s completed enough college credits to be promoted to the next rank upon the start of her active duty contract.

If you’re currently in college and you are worried about what comes next, don’t be. You can use the time you’ve spent to advance your career in the Marines and set you up to move up the ranks quicker to unlock benefits like increased pay, and housing allowance.

Why pay to go to school, especially if you are paying for boarding? The military gives you three meals a day, a FREE dorm to live in, a salaried paycheck every 2 weeks, AND covers your tuition costs if you want to continue taking college classes. Why would you spend your time and money on a school when you could be a part of an organization that will pay YOU for the same and MORE?? Instead of stressing about internships and a job, you will be set up after the military due to your experience.

If you’re considering joining another branch and you HAVEN’T talked to the Marines…ask yourself why you’re holding yourself back. Don’t settle for less than the best. It’s not for everyone. Only those with the mindset of pushing themselves to bringing out their best version of themselves. The least you owe yourself is to talk with a Marine to help you determine if this branch is the right fit for you.

If you want to stay comfortable, you will never grow.

🚨 Welcome the newest addition to the RSS South Park family: Poolee Cantu!

Man, when we first met in July, we both knew it was going to take some time before he met the requirements to start the process. And we were not even sure at that point if it would even be enough. He knew he wanted to join the military and was already on track to complete the education requirements to join. After seeing what the Marine Corps had to offer, he made the decision to see it through and obtain what it takes to move forward to become eligible and apply for the Marines. Thank you for trusting in me and serving as an opportunity to help me learn more about how I can help others with your similar circumstances apply to join our illustrious Corps. ONE STEP CLOSER. Just a few more to go!!

🚨 Join me in welcoming a new addition to the South Park family: Poolee Edwards!

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Poolee Edwards deliberated on the best way to proceed with the process of joining the Marine Corps, ultimately deciding to complete his college education before continuing the process he started 2 years ago.

Due to his completion of a Bachelors Degree, he will be receiving a contracted promotion to E-2 (Private First Class) which will accelerate his promotion to the next rank and allow him to start earning more money from day 1 at boot camp.

This position will bring increased responsibilities, and at 26 years old, Poolee Edwards is already a mature individual who will bring valuable leadership and life experience to his peers and young Marines under his charge.

I have no doubt he will rise quickly through the ranks and eventually follow through with his intent to commission as an officer in the Marines.

We may not be the smartest, but we were definitely the strongest 😂 took home 1st place at the group competition.
