The Maintenance Technician is responsible for up-keeping and maintaining repairs of the agency's buildings, vehicles, grounds and equipment, and other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities
-Complete work orders and process them. Work cooperatively with staff to schedule and complete repairs.
-Inspect all buildings and facilities and initiate repairs as needed.
-Follow established procedures for locking, checking, and safeguarding facilities.
-Conduct regular inventory of physical equipment and supplies and maintain accurate records. Order tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
-Respond to after-hours emergency calls as needed.
-Inspect buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and identify items needing repair or replacement.
-Complete special projects as directed by the facilities director
-Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis, and taking precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
-Responsible for the general maintenance and repairs of the agency’s buildings. This includes, but is not limited to, painting, light fixtures, minor plumbing, and carpentry.
-Responsible for the inspection of our fleet of vehicles, and keeping the stickers current.
-Move furniture and office equipment as requested
-Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Minimum Qualifications
-High School Degree or GED equivalent.
Experience
-Minimum of 1 years experience in maintenance or related field.
License and Credentials
-Reliable transportation
-Valid driver's license
