Truth.

Why?
Growth is an internal fight.
Not you versus other people. Not you versus the world.

It’s you versus the habits, patterns, excuses, and versions of you that keep you stuck.
The comfort version. The reactive version. The version that avoids hard truths.

One of you has to go.
Not physically. But mentally and emotionally.

You don’t grow by adding more.
You grow by letting something end so something stronger can take its place.

That’s the work.
And it’s worth it.

You can be grateful for the life that carried you here, and still know it cannot carry you where you’re going.

Growth does not require you to reject who you were. It requires you to stop letting that version of you make every decision.

You are allowed to choose again.

Your future gets a voice now.

I have some news I'm excited (and a little nervous) to share: I just launched a YouTube channel — Master the Interview.

I'm Eileen — 57, a working Talent Acquisition Manager and Career Coach, and someone who built a 26-year career without a college degree. I've been laid off three times, fired once, and once resigned without giving notice. I've sat on both sides of the interview table more times than I can count, and I'm done pretending any of that was smooth.

This channel is real interview and workplace stories — mine to start, and eventually yours too — paired with the coaching I wish someone had given me while I was living through them. No sarcasm, no polish, just what actually happened and what you can do with it.

Here's the honest part: this page is brand new. A handful of videos up so far, still figuring things out, definitely not a professional production. If that doesn't scare you off, I'd love for you to follow along and be part of it from the very beginning.

Nothing is forever. There is no job security, friendships sometimes dwindle, and love sometimes is not enough.

We can get upset at how life changes but sometimes life forces us into a different path. We might not feel we are ready or might even cringe at the idea of starting over yet that’s life.

Some of us start over several times in our lifetime. Some of us do so on purpose while others just tackle change as head on collision.

In my lifetime I’ve learned that change is inevitable, but we can control how we receive it and adapt.

There is a price to doing or saying nothing. We can lose career opportunities, miss out on new friendships, or lose something of value.

Are we willing to pay that price?
