OVERNIGHT RETAIL SETUP CREW NEEDED!
Spherion Staffing is looking for reliable and detail-oriented team members to assist with a price tag installation project at Safeway stores in San Jose and Morgan Hill. This is a short-term project beginning on October 4th and we are looking for dedicated team members to work each night. The hours are 10:00pm to 6:30am. There are 2 stores in San Jose and 1 store in Morgan Hill, 5 workers for each store. Great way to earn extra money!
Duties and Responsibilities:
Unbox label kits and ensure all necessary materials are present.
Remove existing paper price tags from retail shelves.
Install new shelf strips, electronic shelf label tags, and associate tags across assigned departments.
Clean up work area, remove trash to the store dumpster, and palletize excess materials for pickup.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and stay on your feet for extended periods.
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Dress Code Guidelines:
Pants: Long pants required (jeans or work pants—no holes, tears, sweatpants, capris, shorts, or sagging pants).
Tops: Polo or button-up shirt preferred; solid T-shirts acceptable (no tank tops, sleeveless shirts, or offensive graphics/statements).
Footwear: Closed-toe shoes required (no sandals, clogs, or open-toe shoes).
Headwear/Outerwear: No hats, bandanas, or hooded sweatshirts allowed on the floor.
Cell Phone Policy: No personal cell phone use on the sales floor.
