We spy a couple of familiar OCCK, Inc, faces! We’re proud to see our President and CEO Shelia Nelson-Stout and Training Specialist Julia Connellis helping share an important message.

August 26 is Women's Equality Day, and we are getting ready to celebrate.

On that day in 1920, the 19th Amendment was ratified, giving women the right to vote.

But here is something important: For many disabled women, full equality is still a fight.

Disabled women face more barriers to healthcare, employment, and safety than almost any other group.

Women's rights and disability rights are not separate fights. They are the same fight. To us, that’s black and white!

This week, we honor every woman who has pushed for a more equal world… including the disabled women who have always been part of that story.
