Pettit Staffing is partnering with a well-established office furniture company seeking a dependable and highly organized Scheduling & Operations Supervisor to help oversee day-to-day operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining office coordination, scheduling, warehouse oversight, and team support.

This is a temporary to hire opportunity

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and can keep multiple moving parts organized while supporting crews, customers, and projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Scheduling installations, deliveries, and customer will-call pickups

Coordinating delivery appointments for homes, businesses, schools, and government buildings

Scheduling installer hours and coordinating labor needs for projects

Product receiving and inventory organization

Warehouse oversight including organization, cleanliness, labeling, and project preparation

Supporting delivery/install crews and occasionally stepping in to help cover call-outs or project needs

Communicating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations

What We’re Looking For:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Some Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Comfortable working between office and warehouse environments

Microsoft Outlook experience required
QuickBooks experience preferred (training available)

Some Experience in operations, logistics, scheduling, warehouse coordination, project coordination, or team leadership strongly preferred

Pettit Staffing is currently recruiting for an HVAC/R Technician – Industrial Refrigeration Helper for a food manufacturing facility. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, HVAC, refrigeration, maintenance, or industrial experience looking to build a long-term career in industrial refrigeration and boiler systems.

In this role, you will safely assist with maintaining industrial refrigeration and boiler systems to support production operations and maintain safety standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with starting and shutting down compressors under supervision
Help troubleshoot basic refrigeration and boiler system issues
Follow daily preventive maintenance schedules
Clean, inspect, and service system components
Support maintenance and safety documentation
Assist with compliance related to PSM (Process Safety Management) and RMP (Risk Management Program) procedures
Work alongside experienced technicians to learn industrial refrigeration operations
Minimum Qualifications:
Basic understanding of mechanical, HVAC, refrigeration, maintenance, or cooling systems preferred
No advanced certifications required — training provided for the right candidate
Willingness to learn industrial refrigeration and boiler systems
Basic computer skills and everyday math skills
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work with hands throughout the shift
Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance
Comfortable working in loud manufacturing environments and varying temperatures, including cold and heat

Pettit Staffing is seeking a Solid Surface Fabricator for a well-established wood manufacturing and cabinetry company. These are temporary to hire opportunities. This role focuses on fabricating and finishing solid surface countertops (Corian-type materials) used in residential and commercial projects.

What You’ll Do:

Cut, shape, and fabricate solid surface materials to specifications
Seam and bond pieces to create clean, seamless finishes
Sand and polish surfaces to matte, satin, or gloss finishes
Operate shop equipment (table saws, routers, sanders, CNC preferred)
Perform quality checks to ensure precision and finish standards
Assist with installation as needed
What We’re Looking For:

Experience in solid surface fabrication, cabinetry, or finish carpentry
Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to read basic shop drawings or measurements
Comfortable using power tools and working in a shop environment
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet throughout the shift
Preferred (Not Required):

Experience with Corian or similar solid surface materials
CNC machine experience
Countertop fabrication (laminate, quartz, or stone)
