The biggest reason I joined was for the free education. Before the Air Force I wasn’t taking school seriously, skipping class to play games and overall wasting time and money.

After I joined the Air Force I refocused and completed my bachelors degree. Now I have a 4 year degree and can start my masters all while having a full time career that supports my family. Easily one of the best decision I made as a young adult.

Couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to be involved in grizzfest . Was a great night talking with everyone there about Air Force and Space Force careers and opportunities.

Had a great visit today big shout out to all the people that dropped by asked questions and talked. You all were awesome and we had some good conversations.

Huge thank you to the Salem volcanoes to let us come out and talk during their championship game! Was a great time! Even brought out the little Air Force recruiter to help me out. She is a talker just like her dad.

Don’t miss the last day of the Oregon International Air Show in McMinnville Oregon!! Come out and try operation: shadow strike a 4D experience showing part of an Air Force mission.

Also it is the last day to see the Air Force Thunderbirds in action!!

Was able to work with the local Civil Air Patrol and the Air Force Thunderbirds for an amazing event! To be able to show young cadets the capabilities of this team and have a chance to get up close to these jets was a great event.

Remember this weekend you can see the thunderbirds in action at the Oregon international Air Show in McMinnville. It’s going to be a great event with good food and spectacular aircraft.

How long do you have to work at a company to save up vacation days? How many days are they going to give you your first few years?

We are heading back home after spending time with the family back in Missouri and I love the leave I accrue and use serving in the Air Force. What company gives you 30 days of leave per year where you still receive your salary? The Air Force and Space Force have it covered. Serve at your duty station and take weeks off to visit family and still be around for those big moments. Over the past couple of weeks my daughter turned 11 and my son is 10 weeks old. Watching how much my daughter has grown in the past 11 years has me excited to also see my son go through that same growth.

Last week I had the opportunity to get some training in down in Bens and learn more about my career. What’s even better than training was the great time I was able to spend with my team of recruiters. These are some of the best teammates a Sergeant can ask for. Love getting to know them more and bringing together a more cohesive team.
