We had a VERY special visitor at UCP today! 🐺✨ KC Wolf stopped by to bring some Kansas City Chiefs spirit, big smiles, and lots of fun to our day! 🏈🙌

Our individuals and staff had a blast meeting KC Wolf, taking pictures, and showing off their Chiefs pride! ❤️💛 It was definitely a visit we won’t forget!

We’re excited to welcome a new group of All Students Achieve (ASA) interns as they begin their internship journey at Mosaic Life Care! 📚💙

UCP is proud to be a partner in the ASA program, which gives high school seniors with developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience, develop employment skills, and build confidence as they prepare for life after high school.

We love seeing these students grow, learn, and discover their strengths throughout the year. We’re looking forward to another great year and can’t wait to see what this group accomplishes!

We are saddened to share the passing of Patrick. ❤️

Patrick was a man of faith who was known for his kindness, caring heart, and willingness to help others. He had a special way of making a lasting impression on the people around him, and his presence brought something meaningful to our UCP family.

Patrick will be deeply missed by his friends, staff, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. We are grateful for the memories we shared and the many ways Patrick touched the lives of those around him. ❤️

A huge thank you to Shelly from the Re*****on Nature Center for spending time with us and teaching us all about the different native turtles in our area. We loved learning about their unique characteristics, habitats, and the important role they play in nature.

Shelly also introduced us to our very own special pet Russian Tortoise! 🐢 We are so excited to welcome him into the Adult Program family.

Thank you, Shelly, for sharing your knowledge and making our day so much fun. We truly appreciate all you do to inspire curiosity and a love for wildlife!

What a wonderful way to wrap up our Summer Work Experience 2026 at North Central Missouri College! ☀️🎓

Our students were celebrated for all of their hard work and dedication this summer with Subway and Scooter’s Coffee gift cards, a heartfelt thank-you note, and an NCMC t-shirt to recognize their accomplishments. To make our final day even more special, the amazing NCMC staff hosted a cookout for everyone to enjoy—a perfect way to celebrate a successful summer together! 🌭

Before leaving, we had the opportunity to thank Dr. Clarence Green and the entire NCMC team for their kindness, support, and hospitality throughout the program.

We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and the valuable experiences our students gained through Summer Work Experience. Thank you, NCMC, for helping make this summer one to remember! 💙
