Who says celebrating Global Running Day has to be all about the sweat? 🏃♂️🍔
This Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:00 PM, the Fox River Trail Runners are hosting the ultimate evening of movement, fresh air, and community at the beautiful LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve.
We’ll kick off the night with a group run/walk through the scenic trails, and then head over to our reserved pavilion for a relaxed BBQ cookout and hangout. It’s potluck style, so feel free to bring a side dish, snack, or dessert to share with the crew!
Whether you are a seasoned marathoner, a casual jogger, or prefer a steady walk after a long workday, all paces are welcome. It’s the perfect excuse to clock out, get moving, and connect with great local people.
